A misty, cold winters day at Manchester Airport, UK. Filmed the week before Christmas, just a day after the latest airline "Saudia" resumed their operatons to MAN. Quite a good mix of traffic in the video & a good variety of both long & shorthaul traffic. Flight info has been added on screen for all but a few private jets. A few bits to look out for... 33 year old Jet2 757 G-LSAA departing for Tenerife. Regular viewers of my channel might have seen a recent video of mine from Heathrow, which included a Virgin 787 departure and it left its landing gear down after departure until it climbed way off into the distance and out of sight. The same thing happened here! Look out for the Virgin 787 departing to Atlanta. It climbs off, out of sight into the cloud coverage with its gear still down. I've heard from several sources that it has something to do with maintenance requirements on Boeing 787's. That they sometimes require the gear to be left out for 2 minutes after take off. Fear not, this is apparently fairly regular procedure and the flight did continue as planned to Atlanta. Throughout the video there are some fantastic condensation shots on some of the departures & arrivals. As well as some incredible close up touch downs.
